If you liked this site, you'll love these.  Listed below are some great sites about circus and variety arts and just about anything else we think is really cool.
Entries are alphabetized in each category.

JUGGLING

Indiana University Juggling ClubOne of our closest sibling clubs, based in Bloomington, Indiana.

The International Jugglers' AssociationAre you a member?  Do you want to be?

The Internet Juggling Database:  One stop for all your juggling needs.  Includes valuable resources such as photos and videos, links, a chat room, and best of all, international juggling club listings.

The Juggling Information Service:  Outdated in some areas, but still an excellent resource for fact-finding or learning new tricks.  And it's not just about juggling.  Have a look--we think you'll like it.

Madison Area Jugglers Pattern Book:  Our juggling friends from Madison, WI have compiled this handbook of passing patterns, ranging from classic favorites to original (and often highly advanced) patterns for up to nine jugglers.

New Orleans Jugglers
, a.k.a. N.O. Jugglers:  Another sister club located in New Orleans, LA.

Quelques Passes de Plus, a.k.a. www.passingdb.com:  A passing site, originally available only in French, but recently translated into English (with help from Indy Juggler Jeanette).  Lots of great patterns with descriptive diagrams and even animations, as well as tips and articles on passing, from beginning lessons to complicated superhuman rhythms and 4-hand siteswap theory.

Also, check out the newsgroup rec.juggling, available at the IJDb, listed above.

OTHER CIRCUS AND VARIETY ARTS

Mark Hayward  Juggler, Yo-Yoer, Cool Guy available for hire as Emcee, juggler, yo-yoer, street performer.

Juggler Bob  The worlds strongest juggler, which lives in Indy.

Blue Monkey Sideshow:  Another great performing group based in Indianapolis, run by Indy Juggler Elliot Feldman (a.k.a. Krembo).  Visit their site and see their show!

The Contortion Home Page:  Great site--all you could possibly care to know about contortion and then some.  It contains an abundance of photos, a glossary, stretching tips, info on everything from history to physiology, links, a discussion board, and lots of other cool stuff.  Also check out Limbermen to see the minority at work--men in contortion!

Performers.net:  Forums, essays, links and more for buskers and other performers.

And for a good list of circus schools and courses, look here.

BUYING STUFF

Dube:  This is some top-of-the-line juggling equipment.  Airflite clubs and rings are a good bet for the economical (i.e. cheap) juggler, and the custom clubs and torches have a wonderful feel.  Kind of like velvet, topped in pretty, shiny mylar.

Infinite Illusions:  Juggling props, fire toys, yo-yos, stuff you wouldn't let your kids play with in the house.  It also includes tutorials on yo-yo, devilsticks, and juggling.  You have to click on the kid to get in.

Luxotica  Canadian based supplier of fire toys and supplies including fire poi, fire
whips, fire staff, kevlar wick, and 'make your own' toolkits.

Renegade:  Quality props and great juggling toys, books, videos, everything.  Oh, yeah, and some spiffy t-shirts.  Discounts on bulk orders, and a great deal on scarves.  Scarves are good for teaching beginners (especially kids) or tying up your hair (as my students have taught me).

Semcycle:  The ultimate in unicycles, a company run by long-time unicyclists Teresa and Sem.  They also sell juggling stuff.  Also in the unicycle business is www.unicycle.com.

Serious Juggling:  A great place to find both standard and unique props for juggling and other manipulation arts, as well as circus equipment such as rolling globes and practice tightwire rigs.  They carry Dubé, Todd Smith, Henry's and many other brands.  Ben and Yvette will take good care of you.
