Workshops:
Updated October 28, 2007, these services are only available during the summer, but just in case we can get someone email us.

We offer two standard types of workshops, basic and dual.  Basic workshops teach the basics of 3-ball juggling and last 30-40 minutes.  Each workshop is limited to no more than 30 participants and recommended for ages 8 to adult.
Program time:  45 minutes to 1 hour including demo show (see below)

Dual workshops include instruction in juggling as well as other skills. These are best for groups of 20-40 participants who want more than just basic juggling, and are perfect for middle and high school students or adults.  The group would be divided in half, with one half receiving instruction in basic juggling, while the other half is free to try their hand at various other skills and equipment, including diabolo, devilsticks, poi, possibly slackrope, and for those who can already juggle, clubs and rings.  Each workshop is directed by one or two of our jugglers.  After 30 minutes, the two groups switch.  Optionally, an extra 15-30 minutes of free time may be provided at the end for all participants to return to their favorite props, show their friends what they've learned, etc. at no extra charge.
Program time:  1 1/2 to 2 hours

All workshops include a demo show (shorter and less formal than our stage shows) for workshop participants in addition to instruction.  The demo show would include skills taught in the workshop as well as more advanced juggling.  Upon request, we will also provide take-home worksheets with tips on practice, juggling resources, prop vendors, and our juggling club meeting information.

Basic workshop rates:
$100 for up to 20 participants; $5.00 for each additional participant up to 30
(for more than 30, the group must be broken down into two or more workshops)
Add $30 for a 1-hour workshop instead of 30-40 minutes

Dual workshop rates:
$250 for up to 40 participants; special arrangements must be made for more than 40, and
   prices negotiated accordingly.

Optionally, you may add:
Juggling beanbags for participants to keep ($3/set)
Upon request, we may also be able to order other types of take-home props

Discounts may be available for more than two workshops, or if you are hiring other services (stage show or walkaround) in addition to workshops.

If you would like to purchase one or several workshops, please contact us at least two weeks in advance with the following information:
--Date, location, and approximate time of workshop(s)
--The name of your event or organization (if applicable)
--Type of workshop and number of participants
--Whether you would like to purchase beanbags (assuming one set per participant, unless otherwise  indicated)

Beanbag purchases are final.  Other details may be changed up to one week before the event.

In addition to the standard workshop detailed above, we can also provide customized workshops at customized prices.  These include workshops designed for younger children, longer sessions, intermediate/advanced workshops, extended workshops (a series of daily or weekly workshops), and in-depth instruction in skills other than basic juggling.  If you are interested in a customized workshop, let us know at least three weeks in advance what you'd like and we'll see what we can do.
